Wonderful A A Milne Quotations

“If you live to be 100, I want to be 100 minus 1 day so I would never have to live a day without you”.

This beautiful quote is often mistakenly attributed to A A Milne’s Winnie the Pooh, but it was never actually written by A A Milne or even Disney.

It’s a useful reminder that just because you see something on Pinterest or any other part of the internet, it does not mean that it is true.

This quote is still very beautiful but it was actually written by Joan Powers in a book she wrote called “Pooh’s little book of instructions” which was “inspired by A. A. Milne” & contains copies of the original illustrations. We can therefore probably assume it was officially licensed under copyright. But let’s give credit where it’s due: Joan Powers!
