What timeless way can you end a Wedding Ceremony?

Time capsule at the end of a wedding.jpg

A great ceremony, like any great story or novel has a distinct beginning, middle & end, taking the participants & guests on a wonderful emotional journey.

One unique way to end a wedding ceremony is for the happy couple to create a time capsule.

After the vows & exchange of rings, the couple are invited to each gift into a lockable box items they want to send to their future married selves.

The items could include copies of their vows, secret letters to each other or future children, a bottle of wine or whisky to enjoy, keepsakes & photos from their first date & engagement.

The time capsule is sealed and padlocked by the couple themselves, or jointly by the youngest & oldest wedding guests at the wedding who write & sign when the box is to be re-opened.

The time capsule represents the capturing of this happy moment in time. The couples’ love & hopes are protected against future storms & heat, sealed to enjoy at some point in the future, perhaps a 5th or 10th wedding anniversary.

When reopened at a significant anniversary, the time capsule will help the couple to once again relive the joys & emotions of the day.
